- What will my web site include? Our package includes all design, development, hosting, maintenance, training, the online site management console, passive search engine optimization, and search engine submission. - How many pages can I have? Your Ketchum Member Property Web Solution includes an unlimited number of pages
- What is the online site management console? Our robust site management console is a private, password-protected web site just for you. It allows you to update your website easily and as frequently as you desire. All changes you make are instantly published on your web site. No knowledge of complex programming is necessary! It is compatible with any connection to the web - all you need is a computer with an internet connection account.
- How long will it take until my web site is live on the web? We will have your website completed within 14 days of receipt of your order form.
- How do I send you my content? You can email us any electronic files you may have - photography, logos, PDF's, Word files, etc. If you do not have electronic files, you can send us your rack card or brochure and we will scan the images for you.
- How secure is my website? Our platform is completely secured and password protected. Only you and the site administrator at Ketchum will hold the keys to your site management console.
- Why should I choose Ketchum to provide this service? Ketchum has provided the highest quality directive advertising services to Best Western since 1984. Also, as a member of the OMNICOM network, Ketchum has access to the most sophisticated online talent and resources available today
- Can I transfer my existing website? Your existing web site, as part of this program, will be transitioned to our system by rebuilding it in our site management platform. Your Ketchum representative will work closely with you to replicate your previous site's content as closely as possible.
- I need a new domain name. The cost for a domain name is included in the package price and we will help you find an appropriate domain name that meets Best Western's specifications.
- Can I have you design my site but host it elsewhere? No, our system requires that your site is hosted on our solution. However, this results in the advantages of 24 x 7 x 365 monitoring, and the power and reliability of a system that manages more than 20,000 web sites for a variety of major franchised brands worldwide.
- What are the second year fees? With our guaranteed renewal rates, you annual cost will remain $2550- and that includes all maintenance, support and hosting. Also, we guarantee free upgrades should Best Western implement any branding standard changes that impact the site's design and/or navigation.
- Why do I need a new website? A strong presence on the web is critical to your business. Recent research by BURST Media pointed out that two out of three (65.7%) web users used the internet to either research or purchase travel. - Do I have to link to reservations on BestWestern.com? Yes, Best Western has mandated that all independent websites must link back to BestWestern.com for rates, reservations and the frequent traveler program.
- Can my website accommodate any quick time virtual reality tours? Yes, we can work with you to implement any add-on, additional cost features such as VR tours.
- How can I get my website listed with the search engines? How much does that cost? That service is included in our package price. We will list your website with major search engines and resubmit them on a scheduled basis. Additionally, because your site is built using a solution designed to host and manage thousands of Best Western, the sites are designed to complement each other, increasing the chances for the sites to be indexed on the search engines. The more properties in our program, the better it is for your property.
- How do I sign up? You can sign-up on line by clicking here or by calling Ketchum toll free at 866-706-1715. Upon receipt of your content and payment, your site will be live within 14 days.
- Is hosting included? This is a fully hosted and managed solution.
- Are e-mail addresses included? You may have up to five email addresses, at no additional cost
